Connotation of ULAB logo is:

The picture of nib signified literate, writing,education.
Yellow colour means light, shine
Blue consists coolness
English and Bengali writing connotates International language and mother language are both important
The star means top of the world

Q.1 What do you think this course about?

- I am attending the course MSJ 211. The title of this course is Reading Media Text. I had already attended three classes. So I have a brief idea of this course. I think the course is about to analyze different text are applied in media which includes television, magazines, film, advertising and photography. Moreover, we have to know the critics of these concepts and answer the question critically. In the classroom the students gets the opportunity to participate. So, this course will help the students to think independently. I think after finishing the course it will help the student to use new techniques to learn. We will be able to know the concepts in depth.

Q.2 What do you want to get out of this course?

- At first I want that the course will teach me how to think independently. I can analyze the media text like film, television, magazines, and advertising, photography and newspaper. I will be able to read media text properly and think critically. I want to learn about media theory briefly. I want to know about different between media and culture. I also want to be familiar with new techniques and there application to learning. I want to acquire rich vocabulary and also want to write good essay in English. I want to learn practical exercises more so that I will be able to communicate with the people efficiently.
